The Office of Government and Community Affairs serves as the principal liaison between Georgia State University and the legislative and executive branches of Georgia’s government. This includes the Georgia General Assembly, the Office of the Governor, the University System of Georgia, and other pertinent state government entities. The office provides the university community with updates on local, state, and federal government matters and fosters partnerships between the university and its surrounding communities.
