The Speech Language Hearing Clinic is a part of the Communication Sciences and Disorders graduate program at Georgia State. The clinic, which prepares graduate students to become state-licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologists, provides evaluation, screening and therapy services to the university and metro Atlanta community.
Graduate students in the clinic helped 489 clients in Georgia in 2016 and provided about 2,064 hours of service. Students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders internship program completed more than 3,500 hours of service in Georgia schools and 3,200 hours in medical settings. Twenty-one students in the program accrued 10,076 hours of service in 2016.
