Karen Bennett (D-Stone Mountain) will represent House District 94 in Dekalb County. She received her M.S. from Georgia State in 1988. Bennett is a minister and physical therapist. Robert Stokely (R-Sharpsburg), who received his B.A. from Georgia State in 1976, will represent District 71 in Coweta County. Stokely is the solicitor general for Coweta County. Able Mable Thomas (D-Atlanta) returns to the House of Representatives after she vacated her seat in 2008 to run for United States Congress. She will represent District 56 in Fulton County. She received her B.S. degree from Georgia State in 1982. Representative-elect Thomas is the executive director of the Greater Vine City Opportunities Program. Trey Kelley (R-Cedartown) will represent District 16 in Haralson and Polk Counties. He is currently pursuing his Juris Doctorate at Georgia State University’s School of Law. Kelley is the director of marketing for the W.C. Brooks Co., where he heads up special projects and marketing for the firm. The Georgia State delegation for the upcoming session totals 18 in the House of Representatives and eight in the Senate.
